Use with caution if you or your child has sensitive skin as all these recipes contain essential oils that may cause allergic reaction, also some of them use carrier oils that could clog pores and make it hard to cool the body down (through perspiration). Do not spray on face or mouth.

For adults and children over age 6

Start with a 10 oz glass or plastic spray bottle and add to it:

4 oz unscented witch hazel

4 oz distilled or boiled and cooled water

10 drops Thieves essential oil

10 drops Purification essential oil

5 drops Citronella essential oil

5 drops Lavender essential oil

5 drops Lemon essential oil

Do not shake the mixture, put it between your hands and roll the mixture for 30 seconds to blend it. Do not use on children under 6 years of age, or if your pregnant or breastfeeding.

1.5 oz grapeseed oil

For babies 3 months to 2 years of age

Start with a 4 oz glass or plastic bottle and add to it:

1.5 oz unscented witch hazel

2 oz distilled or boiled and cooled water

5 drops Citronella essential oil

1 tsp Jojoba oil

Do not shake the mixture, put it between your hands and roll the mixture for 30 seconds to blend it.

Reapply every 2 hours as needed

(You can also use this on your pets!)

For babies under 3 months it is not recommended that you use any repellent of any kind (natural or chemical), it is suggested that you limit time out doors, dress them in proper attire (pants, long shirts, socks, and shoes) we know that's a bit of a chore and can be very hot for your little one. Use a mosquito net around strollers and sleeping area.

Tips and warnings:

-Always consult with your child's pediatrician before using any type of insect repellent.

-Never use Peppermint oil on children or infants.

-Do not use around eyes or mouth.

-Before use ALWAYS do an allergy test, spray a small amount on forearm wait 24 hours to make sure there is no reaction.
